After many years work from many people we are nearing the end of the development of the plan. All residents in the plan area are encouraged to vote in the referendum which will be held on Thursday 24th November 2022. The question you will be asked is:
Do you want Leeds City Council to use the neighbourhood plan for Headingley to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?
The final version of the plan is available here: https://headingleyneighbourhoodplan.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/HNP-Plan-Final-OCT-2022.pdf
The plain text version of the plan is available here:
The map of the plan area is available in the plan.
If you live in the plan area you can vote in person at the polling station or by post. (In the same way that you vote in a local or general election).
For those not on the electoral roll the deadline to register to vote is 8 November at midnight.
The deadline to apply for a postal vote is 9 November 5pm.
The link to make a voter registration application is www.gov.uk/registertovote
This plan represents the input from many local residents, visitors and businesses. We are grateful to each and everyone of them and look forward to the plan being useful for the next eleven years.
